Why should I join AOPA Belgium?
Your membership fee contributes to the work resources of AOPA Belgium and the IAOPA network, which in turn
allow us to also represent our pilots at the European level, for example through the
hiring professional lobbying services. We also strive to achieve the international AOPA
provide benefits to our members. Read more about these AOPA benefits on our AOPA

As a member of AOPA US or another national AOPA, am I also a member of AOPA Belgium?
No. It should not be forgotten that IAOPA is a network of national organizations, each of which
promote the interests of their own members. It is true that membership of another AOPA comes
network for the better, but within the IAOPA network we would of course also like to
see pilots represented at their full weight. Hence it is better to belong to one's own
national organization but nothing prevents you from joining 2 or more AOPA countries
organizations.

Cost of annual membership AOPA Belgium:
A) You are a member and you have taken out sports insurance in accordance with the sports decree of Flanders or Wallonia of one of the following recognized air sports federations: Cost = €15.00

* Association of Flemish Motor Flying Clubs (VVMV)
* Association for Model Aviation (VML)
* League of Flemish Gliding Clubs (LVZC)
* Federation Wallonia des Clubs de Parachutisme (FWCP)
* Fédération des Clubs Francophones de Vol à Voile (FCFVV)
B) You are a member of one of the above air sports federations but you do NOT have sports insurance. Cost is €35.00
C) In all other cases you pay the cost of €55.00 for membership to AOPA Belgium
